PM Modi Calls for Strictest Punishment in NEET Paper Leak Case

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged for the harshest punishment to be meted out to those involved in the recent NEET paper leak scandal. The Prime Minister's statement came in response to the swift actions taken by the government following reports of the leak, including the arrest of 13 individuals and the prioritization of a re-examination to protect the interests of students.

During the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, PM Modi emphasized the implementation of stringent measures to prevent future leaks and stressed the need for exemplary action against the culprits. The Prime Minister, supported by the country's top lawyers, is determined to ensure that those responsible for the leak face severe consequences.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju confirmed that the government acted promptly upon learning of the paper leak, resulting in arrests and the subsequent re-examination of NEET. The re-examination was conducted efficiently, and the results were promptly declared to safeguard the future of the students.

Following the NEET paper leak controversy, thousands of protesters, led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), marched towards Parliament, demanding accountability from Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The demonstration led to clashes with the police, leaving over 200 individuals, including police officers, injured.

The police have registered five FIRs and initiated an investigation to determine if the violence during the protests was part of a larger conspiracy to disrupt peace in the national capital. The government remains committed to ensuring justice for the affected students and preventing such incidents from recurring in the future.
