The launch of the Nagercoil-Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express is set to revolutionize travel along the western coast of India, coecting the southern tip of Tamil Nadu with coastal Karnataka through Kerala. This new train service promises faster and more affordable long-distance travel, boosting tourism, fisheries, small trade, and economic integration across states.
Key Details of the Nagercoil-Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express The Nagercoil-Mangaluru-Nagercoil Amrit Bharat Express will operate as train number 16329/16330, traversing major railway stations including Thiruvananthapuram Central, Kollam, Chengaur, and Kottayam. During its journey, the train will make stops at 20 stations, facilitating seamless travel for passengers.
Enhanced Coectivity and Schedule of the Amrit Bharat Express This weekly service will depart from Nagercoil every Tuesday and from Mangaluru every Wednesday. The train timings are structured to provide convenience to passengers, departing from Nagercoil at 11:40 hrs and arriving in Mangaluru at 05:00 hrs the following day. The return journey will commence from Mangaluru at 08:00 hrs, reaching Nagercoil at 22:05 hrs on the same day.
