Congress MPs’ Secret Birthday Celebration Turns into Sit-in at PM’s Residence

An unexpected turn of events unfolded as around 25 Congress MPs found themselves at a sit-in protest at the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, after being told they were going to wish party president Mallikarjun Kharge on his birthday.

The Secretive Plan Unveiled

The meticulously plaed sit-in caught not only the government and police off guard but also the unsuspecting MPs who were kept in the dark about the true purpose of their gathering. Congress sources revealed that the party leadership kept the protest under wraps to avoid alerting authorities, instructing the MPs to gather at Kharge’s residence for birthday celebrations, which was just a cover story.

A Surprise Turn of Events

One MP shared that the group, unaware of the plan, followed Rahul Gandhi's convoy to the PM’s residence after the birthday celebrations at Kharge’s house, where they were instructed to stage a sit-in. The strategy was masterminded by the Gandhi siblings and KC Venugopal, effectively allowing the opposition party to seize the narrative surrounding the NEET paper leaks and police actions against students.

Opposition Leaders Show Support

As the protest gained momentum, various opposition figures, including NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar and AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal, visited the venue to express solidarity. Supriya Sule also made an appearance at the protest site before being detained along with Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi.
